Welcome to the Wood River Rotary Club Website!!

The Wood River Rotary Club was founded in 1929. In 2011-12, the Club celebrates its 82nd anniversary! Our club sponsors annual college scholarship awards to East Alton - Wood River and Roxana High School seniors; operates a "Junior Rotarian" program; sponsors our new Interact Club at EAWR High School ; has an "Adopt-A-Highway" program; purchases and donates new dictionaries to area 3rd graders; does community service projects in the area; and contributes regularly to the Boy Scouts, Habitat for Humanity, local elementary schools, "Operation Blessing" (a local food and used clothing charity).
